Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator (Manufacturing)

Location: Waller, Texas, United States; onsite manufacturing environment.

Compensation range: $74,800–$112,200 per year, depending on relevant experience, technical certifications, and other job-related criteria.

What you will do

• Coordinate and maintain company health, safety, environmental, and quality programs, procedures, records, and documentation.
• Conduct workplace inspections, identify hazards, support risk assessments and JSAs/JHAs, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Assist with incident, injury, near-miss, and property-damage investigations, OSHA recordkeeping, reporting, and safety communications.
• Coordinate safety training, new-hire safety orientation, emergency drills, PPE compliance, and programs covering lockout/tagout, confined space, fall protection, electrical safety, hot work, lifting and rigging, and chemical safety.
• Support environmental compliance, permits, waste management, spill prevention and response, contractor requirements, audits, and customer HSE requirements including ISNetworld.
• Support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, inspections, nonconformance control, root-cause analysis, supplier quality documentation, calibration records, document control, product release, KPI tracking, and quality audits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a safety, environmental, quality, manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
• Strong organizational, documentation, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct workplace inspections, identify hazards, recommend practical corrective actions, investigate incidents, and document findings.
• Ability to work effectively with employees at all organizational levels, including production personnel, supervisors, engineers, management, customers, and contractors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Ability to interpret safety procedures, regulations, drawings, specifications, and work instructions; prioritize multiple tasks; meet deadlines; work independently and as part of a team; maintain confidentiality; and exercise sound judgment.
• Professional and approachable demeanor with the ability to promote safety without unnecessarily disrupting production.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• Experience with ISO 9001, internal audits, environmental compliance, root-cause analysis, and corrective action systems.
• Experience with ISNetworld or similar contractor-management systems.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, power generation, oil and gas, heavy equipment, or skid/package assembly.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• HAZWOPER or other applicable safety certifications.
