People Operations Specialist

What you will do

• Own the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, approvals, contracts, probation, and review cycles.
• Configure and manage the People side of the HR system, automate workflows, maintain data quality, and provide internal expertise.
• Support employees and managers as the first point of contact for People topics.
• Lead People projects from concept through rollout, including engagement, performance, policies, and culture initiatives.
• Handle daily HR administration for European and US teams.
• Build People dashboards and reports to support data-driven decisions.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Practical experience through internships or working-student roles, ideally in HR or People Operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and discretion when handling sensitive topics.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking, with a process-building mindset.
• Tech affinity and hands-on experience with an HRIS such as Rippling or Personio.
• Ownership mindset and willingness to improve manual processes independently.
• Fluent English and German required.

Nice to have

• Experience automating workflows or building reports, including HRIS workflows and dashboards.
• Project management experience.
• Studies focused on HR, organization, or labor law.
• Experience in an international, fast-growing company.
