Compensation Program Manager (Medtech)

What you will do

• Develop, implement, administer, and improve compensation and incentive policies, procedures, practices, and programs.
• Conduct labor market surveys and studies, analyze jobs and job specifications, and apply job evaluation techniques to establish equitable compensation rates.
• Review regulatory requirements, company policies, labor union agreements, classification changes, and compensation changes; provide recommendations within policy and budget limits.
• Advise line managers, HR generalists, and HR management on compensation issues and develop competitive initiatives supporting business strategies.
• Manage or support executive compensation, incentive plan, and stock option administration, including employee communications and training where required.
• Lead program execution through matrixed professional teams and vendors, coordinating plans, milestones, budgets, meetings, briefings, and operational developments.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree or an equivalent qualifying degree for degrees earned outside the United States, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree plus at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Practical knowledge of leading and managing processes, projects, and tactics within one job area.
• Advanced knowledge and skills in a specific technical or professional discipline, with an understanding of impacts across the organization.
• Experience managing developed or mature programs with defined plans and delivery methodologies.
• Ability to gather and analyze detailed information, investigate difficult problems, and improve program management processes.
• Ability to lead meetings, communicate with internal and external customers and vendors, brief senior management, and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Ability to lead, direct, and review the work of professionals and vendors without direct hiring or firing responsibility.
