Asset & Wealth Management - Software Engineering - Associate - New York (Java/Python)

Location: New York, NY, United States; office-based role

Salary: USD 115,000–180,000 annually

What you will do

• Build and scale cloud-based hybrid big data solutions for sales and marketing teams.
• Develop productivity tools, analytics access, insights, and real-time goal tracking.
• Drive features from design through execution across the full stack.
• Integrate RESTful web services and investigate API performance and latency.
• Collaborate with globally located cross-functional teams and technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with Java, J2EE, and/or Python.
• Strong data skills, including databases and deriving insights with machine learning.
• Experience integrating RESTful web services.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with globally located cross-functional teams and build customer-centric products.
• Comfort with Agile operating models and experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservice architecture, distributed systems, low-latency services, NoSQL, and relational databases.
• Experience with AWS, Kafka, MongoDB, Spring, Sybase, or another relational database management system.
• Ability to establish trusted partnerships with product heads and executive-level stakeholders.
• Experience in financial services or fintech.
