Full-stack Developer

Location: Dublin, OH, US; fully remote except for onboarding and optional in-office events

Salary: $85,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications, internal developer portals, microservices, and APIs that automate engineering and business workflows.
• Build self-service interfaces, CLI tools, and backend services for provisioning ephemeral environments, triggers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop data pipelines that move, transform, and integrate data across internal systems and third-party services.
• Create responsive interfaces and dashboards providing visibility into workflow automation, deployment status, and platform metrics.
• Apply security, identity and access controls, testing, compliance guardrails, logging, monitoring, and tracing.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to gather requirements and improve developer tooling.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong backend development skills in Python or Ruby, including RESTful APIs and microservices in cloud-native environments.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Frontend experience building interactive web applications and dashboards with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Understanding of Docker and deploying and debugging full-stack applications in cloud environments, particularly AWS.
• Experience consuming, configuring, or extending CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline.
• Understanding of software architecture, data modeling, unit, integration and end-to-end testing, and OAuth2/OIDC security and authentication standards.
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods, up to 8 hours per day, and use standard office equipment for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Experience developing internal developer tools, CLI utilities, or self-service developer portals such as Backstage.
• Experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Next.js.
• Experience building or supporting data pipelines and ETL processes using tools such as Apache Spark, AWS Glue, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts, Terraform or AWS CDK, and observability platforms such as DataDog or Grafana.
