IT Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Location: St. Louis, MO; mostly remote with 1 day per month onsite.

W2 pay rate: $50–$60/hour.

What you will do

• Lead IT infrastructure projects through initiation, planning, execution, and completion.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate stakeholders, assign and track tasks, communicate status, and drive accountability.
• Identify obstacles, risks, and issues and drive them toward resolution.
• Manage third-party vendors and hold them accountable for schedules and deliverables.
• Monitor project budgets, invoices, forecasts, and related financial activities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of project management experience, preferably involving IT infrastructure or technology projects.
• Proven full-lifecycle project management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience managing vendors and project budgets.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project leadership, ownership, persistence, organization, attention to detail, communication, and relationship-building skills.
