Project Manager III, ANS

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY; onsite at client sites and with clients and partners.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day contract administration, project scopes, contractual compliance, policies, procedures, and regulatory alignment.
• Develop and track project budgets; review contractor proposals, change orders, claims, pay applications, and financial reporting.
• Establish and maintain project schedules, milestones, completion dates, critical-path activities, and recovery schedules.
• Coordinate construction documentation, including bidding, startup and closeout, submittals, RFIs, change management, pay applications, and project reporting.
• Communicate project status, budgets, risks, and delays to clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams while providing technical direction.
• Lead risk analysis, project staff development, technical guidance, and closeout activities including punch lists, final payments, deliverables, and final records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, and/or engineering.
• 10+ years of experience overseeing and managing all phases of higher education institution programs or projects.
• 10+ years of experience in preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases.
• Ability to solve problems, interpret information, draw conclusions, and make decisions.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, crawl, climb ladders, stairs, and hills, and reach overhead throughout the day.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds or more, comply with personal protective equipment requirements, and work in extreme temperatures, loud noises, and fumes on project sites.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30 Hour Safety Training.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and/or PMP certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication and computer skills.
• Experience with construction management software, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Adobe.
