UK Decorating Centre Distribution Operations Manager

Location: Field based across the UK and Ireland; national travel required.

What you will do

• Lead company fleet operations across UK and Ireland business units.
• Drive safety, compliance, operational best practice, productivity, sustainability, customer service, and cost performance across the distribution network.
• Support and coach Area Managers, Hub Managers, and operational teams to deliver consistent standards.
• Use operational and fleet data to identify opportunities, reduce risk, and improve performance.
• Lead supplier relationships to ensure service, value, and efficiency.
• Support business-wide projects improving stores, hubs, and distribution operations.

Requirements

• Experience managing multi-site operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of fleet, transport, safety, and compliance requirements.
• Proven record of driving operational improvement and change.
• Excellent coaching, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical ability and experience using data to improve performance.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational support.

Nice to have

• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
