Strategic & Commercial Supply Chain Lead (Construction)

What you will do

• Develop and implement long-term category roadmaps using spend analysis, market intelligence, and business priorities.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFIs, PQQs, RFPs, and ITTs.
• Partner with Operations, Commercial, Estimating, and Supply Chain stakeholders to align sourcing with operational delivery, client outcomes, and work winning.
• Negotiate framework agreements, pricing, commercial terms, and SLAs.
• Manage vendor onboarding, compliance, KPIs, performance accountability, and strategic supplier relationships.
• Reduce supply chain risk by monitoring financial stability, capacity, material availability, and single-source exposure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management within construction supply chain environments.
• Education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commercial, or a related field.
• Demonstrated delivery of measurable cost reductions, value creation, and financial KPIs.
• Advanced data analysis skills, including interpretation of large spend datasets and market trends.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Working knowledge of contractual terms, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
• Experience improving vendor performance, reducing supply chain risk, and building vendor relationships.
