AI & Software Engineering Lead

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative, scalable features across the Alli application suite.
• Draft and implement reliable, complex, and highly scalable architectural solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, engineering leaders, and cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven solutions and align technical decisions with business outcomes.
• Build scalable products that deliver measurable results for clients.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, promote development best practices, conduct code reviews, and provide feedback to frontend engineers.
• Perform coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and technical guidance for client teams across the application lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience using object-oriented programming to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, or another cloud platform, including application deployment and management.
• Experience balancing hands-on development with mentoring and training engineers.
• Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and platforms such as Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Bedrock, or LangChain.
• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, system architecture, and SOLID engineering principles.
• Proficiency in backend and frontend technologies, including Python, JavaScript with Node.js and React, and Go.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-based deployments, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Git/GitHub experience for version control.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts across teams and aligning engineering work with business objectives.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset, adaptability, continuous learning, customer focus, and people-focused leadership.
• Experience in client-facing roles providing technical advice and strategic insights, including guidance related to media, technology, and emerging trends.

Nice to have

• Experience in digital marketing or advertising technology and its intersection with engineering solutions.
• AWS Solutions Architect - Professional certification.
• Prior experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Familiarity with large-scale data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Kafka.
