Mechanical Engineer (12 Months Temporary Assignment)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and systems using 3D CAD tools.
• Create technical drawings, specifications, assembly instructions, and customer-facing documentation.
• Conduct mechanical analysis and simulations to validate designs and optimize performance.
• Manage BOM structures for accuracy and traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams on product development and improvement.
• Translate customer requirements into engineering solutions, participate in design reviews, and support compliance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
• Demonstrated experience creating and managing BOM structures.
• Strong technical documentation and drawing skills.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong people skills, and effective teamwork.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

Nice to have

• Experience with mechanical simulation and finite element analysis (FEA) software.
• Knowledge of engineering standards and industry regulations.
• Project management experience or exposure.
• Experience in pneumatic, hydraulic, or actuator industries.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Professional engineering qualification or chartership such as CEng or IEng.
