Asbestos Surveyor - Yorkshire (Environmental)

Location: UK field-based, Yorkshire, United Kingdom; travel to client sites across the UK is required.

Salary: from £38,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a company vehicle.

What you will do

• Conduct asbestos surveys, safely sample suspect materials, and record findings according to job instructions and internal procedures.
• Assess asbestos risks and advise clients on removal or safe management.
• Support clients in maintaining legal and safety compliance.
• Work with clients and project teams to ensure clear communication, timely reporting, and resolution of on-site issues.
• Travel independently to client sites across the UK, with most initial work taking place at domestic properties.

Requirements

• RSPH Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Surveying or P402 Qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• At least 6 months of relevant asbestos surveying experience.
• Technical knowledge, safety awareness, attention to detail, and confidence working independently.
• Ability to travel to and work at client sites and provide professional, compliant advice.
