Senior Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom; Oxford Road. Hybrid working arrangements may be considered.

Salary: £33,662–£37,369 per annum, depending on relevant experience.

What you will do

• Lead the Assessment & Progression team and manage delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate taught assessment and progression activity.
• Interpret academic policies and regulations and manage student data accurately.
• Coordinate assessments, examination boards, progression decisions, external examining, and complex student cases.
• Collaborate with academic staff, Professional Services colleagues, external examiners, Faculty, and University partners.
• Contribute to academic governance, regulatory compliance, service improvement, and the student experience.

Requirements

• Expert interpretation and application of academic policies and regulations.
• Accurate management of student data and assessment or progression records.
• Ability to lead a team and manage complex assessment, progression, and student records activities.
• Ability to collaborate with academic and Professional Services partners in a complex and professionally regulated environment.
