What you will do

• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Health & Safety management system across multiple locations.
• Coordinate international H&S standards with corporate requirements and local legal frameworks.
• Monitor, analyze, and report H&S performance and compliance indicators; maintain documentation, processes, and reporting structures.
• Coordinate external H&S service providers, audits, inspections, regulatory interactions, and corrective measures.
• Participate in incident and accident investigations, root cause analyses, risk assessments, and employee and management training initiatives.
• Organize and participate in mandatory quarterly safety committee meetings for German sites and provide guidance on occupational safety, health management, and environmental protection.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Health & Safety, ideally in logistics, automotive, warehouse operations, or comparable industrial environments.
• Official certification as a Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (FaSi) or Sicherheitsingenieur, as required under German law (ASiG § 7 and DGUV V2) to support German warehouses.
• Experience coordinating or managing H&S topics across multiple sites or countries.
• Strong understanding of legal H&S compliance frameworks and their practical implementation.
• Experience working with external service providers and regulatory authorities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify compliance gaps and implement structured solutions.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working in an international environment.
• Fluency in English and German; the role actively supports the Berlin warehouse.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Nice to have

• Additional qualification as a Fire Protection Officer and/or Dangerous Goods Officer.
• Knowledge of, or auditor certification in, occupational health and safety management systems, particularly ISO 45001.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
