EHS Professional (Oil & Gas)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Dammam, Saudi Arabia; Doha, Qatar. The role involves both site-based and office-based work, with an opportunity for remote/flexible work.

What you will do

• Monitor site activities, conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, daily briefings, risk assessments, and Job Safety Analyses.
• Support Permit-to-Work administration and monitor lockout/tagout requirements during Oil & Gas outage activities.
• Report and investigate incidents and near misses, maintain EHS documentation and records, and prepare reports, statistics, and KPI updates.
• Coordinate PPE, safety supplies, emergency equipment inspections, internal audits, and site inspections.
• Support EHS awareness, engagement, training, chemical safety, and emergency preparedness activities.
• Apply Human and Organizational Performance principles and manage lessons learned.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of practical EHS experience supporting Oil & Gas and industrial projects in the Middle East, with 8–15 years of EHS experience in Oil & Gas, power generation, or rotating-equipment industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, environmental, petroleum, or a related engineering discipline, or a recognized three-year diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate Level 3 or equivalent, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Internal Auditor certification, and knowledge of turbines.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco and ADNOC safety requirements, applicable General Instructions, HSE management systems, labor laws and occupational health and safety regulations in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar, plus ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and OSHA requirements.
• At least five years of experience developing, implementing, and continuously improving EHS processes and procedures.
• At least five years of site-based experience supporting outages, maintenance, commissioning, or project execution.
• Experience in power plants or the Oil & Gas industry and in working with multicultural teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Loop, Planner, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus the ability to use AI-enabled tools for productivity and reporting.
• Proactive approach, commitment to continuous professional development, collaborative teamwork, strong communication and reporting skills, and commitment to high safety standards and safety culture.
• Ability to work in both site-based and office-based environments.
