Financial Reporting Manager

Location: Petre Rd, Clayton-le-Moors, Accrington, United Kingdom; full-time onsite role.

What you will do

• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and monthly management accounts to support business decisions.
• Own key balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities.
• Manage, coach and develop two Assistant Accountants.
• Strengthen the financial control framework and improve processes and ways of working.
• Provide financial analysis and build stakeholder relationships across the business.

Requirements

• Studying toward or qualified as an accountant; suitable for a first move from practice.
• Proven experience operating in a complex, fast-paced business environment.
• Experience managing an accounts transactional team.
• Experience supporting and influencing cash management and working capital optimization.
• Experience preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ability to interpret P&L, balance sheet and cash flow data to identify opportunities and minimize risk.
• Ability to plan and prioritize effectively amid changing demands.
• Ability to influence and act as a strategic partner.
• Strong Excel skills.
