Finance Analyst

Location: St. Giles High Street, 1 Central St. Giles, London, United Kingdom. Full-time onsite role; external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview before a hiring decision.

The role sits within Universal Pictures Content Group, an entrepreneurial studio focused on acquiring, producing, managing, and distributing content across multiple platforms and genres.

What you will do

• Assist with deal evaluations, deal approvals, and board submissions.
• Support budgeting, marketing and operational spend tracking, forecasting, month-end close, and quarterly close processes.
• Prepare performance reporting for senior management and analyse title performance across genres and platforms.
• Maintain accurate sublicense revenue tracking and financial records while working with cross-functional teams.
• Support accounts payable, outsourced finance processes, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, payment processing, audits, and internal controls.
• Support business change initiatives, including the SAP implementation planned for 2026, systems improvements, and ad hoc financial analysis.

Requirements

• Strong Excel skills.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Prior experience in a finance role, including internship or entry-level experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a finance role.
• Passion, energy, engagement, positivity, and a desire to make a difference.

Nice to have

• Media industry experience.
• Part-qualified or studying towards ACA, CIMA, or ACCA.
