hirify.global is a European fusion company and Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics spin-out developing hardware and infrastructure for commercial stellarator fusion power plants.

What you will do

• Build market reports, competitive landscapes, and company mappings to identify investment opportunities.
• Develop decision memos, valuations, business plans, and business cases supporting go/no-go decisions by leadership and the board.
• Lead deal workstreams including expert calls, reference checks, and data-room screening.
• Work with engineering, finance, legal, and supply chain teams to ground analyses in technical and operational reality.
• Contribute to the business development roadmap, source opportunities through conferences and industry events, and support organic product opportunities.
• Deploy AI tools to accelerate research, screening, and drafting.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of deal execution experience in tier-1 strategy consulting, private equity, venture capital, or a fast-paced startup; exposure to industrials, energy, or advanced manufacturing is preferred.
• STEM degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a similar field, or demonstrated ability to work fluently with technical teams on technical topics.
• Ability to structure ambiguous questions, conduct analysis independently, and provide recommendations.
• Strong market modeling and memo-writing skills, including valuation, business plans, and concise decision documents.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with confidence communicating with founders, suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable working at pace and with ambiguity, and interested in fusion energy and the industrial base behind it.
