Payment Operations & Treasury Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role based in Luxembourg; candidates must be based locally or able to commute to the Luxembourg office.

hirify.global holds EMI and CASP licenses from the CSSF and builds international payments infrastructure connecting fiat payments, foreign exchange, digital assets, and traditional payment rails.

What you will do

• Execute day-to-day fiat and crypto payment operations, treasury transfers, wallet rebalancing, and custody-related activities.
• Support liquidity management through timely funding, cash movements, and operational readiness across fiat and digital asset accounts.
• Monitor payment flows, cash positions, and operational balances; investigate, resolve, and escalate payment, settlement, and operational exceptions.
• Maintain operational controls, records, and documentation supporting customer funds safeguarding, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive automation and continuous improvements across payment and treasury operations and support new payment flows, processes, and product initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Risk, Product, Engineering, and internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in payment operations, treasury operations, or financial operations within a regulated financial institution.
• Experience in an EMI, bank, payment institution, VASP/CASP, or FinTech environment.
• Strong understanding of payment operations, treasury management, liquidity management, and operational controls.
• Experience working in a highly regulated environment with strong risk awareness and operational excellence.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Compliance, Risk, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, ownership-driven approach.
• Professional fluency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience working within a Luxembourg-regulated financial institution.
• Familiarity with CSSF regulatory expectations, PSD2, and MiCA.
