Demand Planer Manager (MedTech)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Netherlands, ideally in the south of the Netherlands or within commuting distance of the Weert Distribution Center; on-site 2–3 days per week. Regular international travel of up to 25% may be required.

What you will do

• Own monthly demand planning and forecasting for international distributor partners and direct markets.
• Consolidate forecasts, analyse accuracy, bias, variability, purchasing patterns, market trends, and operational risks.
• Lead monthly market reviews, quarterly distributor reviews, and S&OP discussions covering demand, inventory, service levels, and supply constraints.
• Build consensus demand plans aligned with market expectations, inventory, fulfilment, financial objectives, product availability, and supply capabilities.
• Support product launches, software releases, product enhancements, discontinuations, constrained-supply allocation, and inventory depletion strategies.
• Improve planning tools, reporting, workflows, automation, and analytics; present insights to leadership and coach Operations Specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
• At least six years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, sales operations, inventory planning, or commercial operations.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, allocation, and supply chain processes.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess complex supply-and-demand scenarios and make data-informed recommendations.
• Financial and commercial acumen, including revenue forecasting experience.
• Experience collaborating across Commercial, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills, including communication with leadership audiences.
• Fluent spoken and written English; ability to manage multiple priorities in an international, fast-moving, evolving environment.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting international markets, distributors, or complex fulfilment networks.
• Experience in a global or distributor-based commercial organisation.
• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, order-management, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics environments.
• Experience with product launches, lifecycle transitions, inventory allocation, or constrained-supply planning.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing operational team members.
• Fluency in an additional European language.
