NWC Material Planner

Location: Delft, Netherlands. Onsite.

What you will do

• Manage replenishment activities, purchase requisitions, supplier deliveries, and supply shortages.
• Maintain supply data in SAP and execute inventory-management calendar activities, including MRP updates, SLOB analysis, scrap processing, and stock takes.
• Ensure material availability for production, monitor inventory levels, and optimize stock.
• Review planning parameters, lead times, and safety stock levels while supporting inventory-reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Logistics, Engineering, Manufacturing, warehouse teams, and suppliers to resolve supply and invoicing issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in material planning, inventory management, warehouse management, production planning, supply chain, procurement, or logistics.
• Experience working in an ERP/MRP environment such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics; SAP is preferred.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers, manufacturing, procurement, and warehouse teams.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, inventory management, supply and demand planning, production planning, procurement and replenishment, warehouse and logistics operations, and MTO processes.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills, ability to analyze large data sets, and understanding of supply chain KPIs and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, data-driven decision-making, stakeholder-management, organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Ability to identify shortages and risks proactively, manage multiple materials and deadlines, influence stakeholders, and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, accountable, persistent, resilient under pressure, comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities, and committed to teamwork and continuous improvement; supervision competence for the inbound team.

Nice to have

• APICS/ASCM, CIPS, or another supply chain certification.
• Knowledge of warehouse management, Six Sigma, S&OP, demand planning, supply chain risk management, capacity planning, and production scheduling basics.
