Planning & Logistics Manager / Manufacturing Supply Chain Pillar Lead

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands. On-site work includes production and warehouse areas with exposure to machine noise and temperature changes; personal protective equipment is required in designated areas.

hirify.global operates the Utrecht manufacturing site, producing De Ruijter, Karvan Cévitam, Roosvicee, Venz and Brinta across three manufacturing environments.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Planning & Logistics team, defining roles, standards, priorities and accountability.
• Participate in the Site Leadership Team and help shape site strategy, priorities, investment choices and overall performance.
• Translate demand, capacity, materials and inventory into realistic production plans, ensuring material availability and resolving shortages.
• Manage goods flow from receipt to shipment, including warehousing, internal logistics and transport.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, order closure and reconciliation while reducing obsolete and slow-moving stock.
• Lead performance reviews, the KHMS MSC roadmap and cross-functional improvement work with Production, FSQ, Maintenance, CI/Engineering, Finance and Supply Chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s level of education and thinking, with a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant manufacturing supply chain experience, including two years in a leadership role.
• Experience in production planning, material planning, inventory, and warehouse or logistics operations.
• Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Lean, KHMS or a similar manufacturing excellence system.
• Professional proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Ownership and results focus, strong analytical skills, sound decision-making, clear communication, coaching leadership and team development.
• Cross-functional collaboration, influence, enterprise mindset, prioritization, escalation management, standardization, follow-through and sustainable change leadership.
