Site Manager (Infrastructure)

Location: Normanton, United Kingdom; travel to various project sites required.

hirify.global delivers infrastructure projects and is seeking a Site Manager to oversee on-site operations.

What you will do

• Manage daily site operations, including personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, site security, and on-site issue resolution.
• Implement health, safety, environmental, and company requirements across project activities.
• Develop schedules, monitor progress, report deviations, and prepare daily logs and progress documentation.
• Control budgets, approve authorized expenditures, and procure materials, plant, and equipment.
• Inspect work, manage corrective actions, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, local authorities, and other stakeholders while training and mentoring site personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive site management experience on infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, or utilities.
• Proven record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites.

Nice to have

• Relevant safety certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
