AI Product Manager Intern

Location: Fully onsite in Augsburg, Germany, for 4–6 months; full-time internship.

hirify.global builds an AI operating system that helps renewable energy installers plan and sell solar, battery storage, and heat pump solutions and manage daily operations.

What you will do

• Coordinate release testing and continuously test new features during development, identifying issues and providing actionable feedback to engineering.
• Track features, changes, dependencies, and release timelines while coordinating communication across product, engineering, and other teams.
• Evaluate edge cases, usability, customer workflows, and the overall product experience to improve product quality.
• Triage user feedback and bug reports, reproduce issues, and create clear engineering tickets.
• Write release notes, support internal demos, and explain new functionality to colleagues.
• Build customer understanding and collaborate with engineers to remove ambiguity before features reach users.

Requirements

• Product mindset with an interest in why features are built, who they serve, and what makes them useful.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies, edge cases, and potential customer issues.
• Clear communication with engineers, product colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Professional fluency in English at C1+ level.
• Technical curiosity and willingness to investigate bugs, understand software, and learn technical concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and ability to quickly build rough prototypes; coding is not required.
• Customer orientation, ownership, and ability to turn qualitative feedback into actionable insights.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment with evolving priorities and processes.
• Currently enrolled at a university and available full-time for 4–6 months. Economics, engineering, computer science, or a related background is helpful but not required.

Nice to have

• Internship, working student, or university project experience in product management, product operations, QA, software development, or B2B SaaS.
