Senior Software Engineer (SAP)

Salary: $129,314.00–$180,000.00/year, plus annual or quarterly performance incentives

What you will do

• Lead groups of four to six engineers, including offshore associates, by providing technical direction, documentation, solution reviews, and design and code reviews.
• Lead discovery and high-level design for medium to large projects in partnership with product management, project management, business, and user experience teams.
• Translate requirements into technical solutions, develop code, conduct unit testing, troubleshoot bugs, and ensure on-time delivery and handoffs.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues, perform root cause analysis, coordinate support teams, and document resolutions.
• Provide technical support to business users and lead cross-functional collaboration and project-team activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of experience in software engineering or a related area; or a Master’s degree or equivalent plus 2 years of experience.
• Experience designing meat manufacturing processes, including transformation from live animal to finished products, quality specifications, transformation bills of materials, and costing of semifinished and finished products.
• Experience implementing meat manufacturing best practices across productivity, quality, and costing perspectives.
• Experience creating manufacturing and costing bills of materials in SAP.
• Experience with SAP implementation methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and request intake using JIRA.
• Experience designing, executing, and measuring change-management strategies for SAP implementations.
• Experience with yields, key industry metrics, and their relationship to ERP software development; SAP Security roles management and approvals.
• Experience executing warehouse processes in SAP eWM, including PO GRs, Process Order GR, STO, and SO GI.
• Experience integrating sourcing, manufacturing, warehousing, sales, quality control, finance, and management business processes using ERPs.
• Experience creating and managing support incidents in ServiceNow, configuring XMatters, and monitoring mobile devices with AirWatch.
