ERP Software Engineer (SQL)

Location: Pullman, Washington, United States; this position is located in Pullman, WA.

Salary: $82,000–$122,900 for Associate Software Engineer or $89,400–$134,100 for Software Engineer per year.

What you will do

• Administer and develop ERP systems, including Deltek Vantagepoint, and support Salesforce-based customer information systems.
• Resolve customer issues, keep systems up to date, develop custom solutions, and build integrations across SEL systems.
• Collaborate on the specification, design, implementation, debugging, deployment, and testing of SEL business systems.
• Recommend and implement software development, testing, and deployment processes based on industry best practices.
• Prepare and maintain design and specification documentation while providing technical support to internal and external customers.
• Discover and apply creative solutions to technical and process problems, and teach others.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in MIS, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of application development experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Ability and desire to work and collaborate in a team environment.
• Excellent writing, documentation, and speaking skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP system administration and development.
• Experience with SQL-based application and database design, including proficiency building complex SQL queries.
• Experience with ETL tools for processing large amounts of data from various sources.
• Experience with end-user reporting tools.
• Experience troubleshooting problems.
