Lead Technical Analyst (SAP)

Location: Deerfield, Illinois, United States; onsite role with 24x7 on-call rotation for off-hour system emergencies.

Base salary: $105,000–$165,000 USD per year, plus participation in an annual bonus plan or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders as the liaison between IT and leadership for assigned business units or vendors.
• Lead SAP Financials technical design, configuration, development, support, continuous improvements, and global deployments.
• Develop and execute infrastructure, security, technical development, functional configuration, unit, and end-to-end test plans.
• Lead or participate in design sessions, prototypes, proof-of-concept evaluations, and third-party software or vendor selection.
• Design end-to-end system architectures, integrations, specifications, and RICEW technical solutions based on business requirements.
• Support project planning, risk analysis, training, work prioritization, estimates, change management, service management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline is required; equivalent additional work experience may substitute for the degree.
• High energy, confidence, effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to drive action for daily and project work.
• Availability for a 24x7 on-call rotation to handle off-hour system emergencies.
• Strong analytical and project management skills, including translating customer business needs into application and operational requirements.
• Effective oral and written communication with internal customers, IT associates, third-party vendors, and senior IT leadership; ability to prepare and deliver organized presentations.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, waterfall project management, and Agile process methodologies.
• Experience with IT ticketing and support systems such as ServiceNow and Jira in a Service Desk or Help Desk environment.

Nice to have

• Four-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a similar field.
• 3+ years of IT experience supporting SAP FI/CO modules and integrations with SD and MM.
• 5+ years of ABAP programming experience with SAP Financial Configuration, integrations, and related processes.
• 5+ years of experience developing RICEW components: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows.
• Technical knowledge of SAP databases and tables for General Ledger, Closing, Tax, A/R, AP, Cost Elements, Profit Center Accounting, Fixed Assets, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Investment Management in SAP ECC.
• Knowledge of IDocs, batch scheduling, web services, WinShuttle, SAPscript/Smart Forms, and BADI development.
• SAP S/4HANA expertise; experience with SAP ERP implementations across organizations and geographies and local regulatory requirements.
• PMP and/or CSM certification.
