Senior Manager, Contingent Workforce & Travel

Location: Foster City, California, United States; hybrid

Base salary: $245,000–$294,000 per year, excluding RSUs, Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights, and possible sign-on bonus.

Zoox develops and operates programs supporting contingent workforce and corporate travel and expense operations as it expands across the US and globally.

What you will do

• Lead and scale global teams responsible for contingent workforce management and corporate travel and expense operations.
• Define and execute strategic roadmaps for policies, systems, governance, global mobility, and non-employee talent.
• Partner with business leaders, Recruiting, HR, Procurement, Finance, and Legal to align external talent strategies with workforce planning.
• Direct MSP, vendor, and supplier partnerships to improve quality, fulfillment velocity, and fiscal discipline.
• Modernize VMS, travel and expense platforms, automated workflows, reporting, and audit readiness.
• Use program analytics and user feedback to benchmark performance and improve service delivery.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience managing contingent workforce programs, preferably in a high-tech, high-growth, or complex environment.
• 7+ years of experience leading teams, including developing and mentoring direct reports.
• Expertise in contingent workforce strategy, operations, and compliance, including worker classifications and industry best practices.
• Experience managing an MSP, business partnerships, vendor management, and external partnership optimization.
• Extensive experience with VMS platforms such as VNDLY, Beeline, or Fieldglass, including system configurations and reporting and analytics.
• Strong operational, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Experience with financial tools and budget management for contingent workforce programs.
• Experience scaling organizations in a super fast-paced environment.
