Employee Experience Manager

Location: San Francisco or New York City; in-office company. Employee experience programs support teams across San Francisco, New York, London, Toronto, Sydney, LATAM, and EMEA.

Salary: $160K–$190K + equity.

What you will do

• Own the global employee experience programs and communications that shape how employees experience working at Decagon.
• Build and scale recognition programs, including founder awards, peer recognition, anniversaries, and milestone celebrations.
• Design and run all-hands meetings, offsites, team and office gatherings, holiday events, and new office launches.
• Own onboarding swag, including welcome-kit design, vendor management, inventory, and delivery by the employee’s first day.
• Create repeatable playbooks for office leads and remote teams, adapting programs to local timing, format, and culture.
• Maintain the People Leaders Hub and employee-facing Notion content, and partner with Workplace, IT, Finance, executive assistants, founders, and People leadership on events, communications, contracts, and budgets.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in employee experience, culture, internal communications, or events roles, including experience at a company that scaled past a few hundred employees.
• Experience building and owning a company-wide recognition or culture program from design through measurement.
• Experience producing large internal events, including all-hands, offsites, and multi-office gatherings, end to end with budgets, vendors, and run-of-show.
• Strong writing skills, including producing clear employee-facing communications and editing founder drafts while preserving their voice.
• Ability to influence cross-functional partners and leaders without formal authority and challenge programs or messages that may land poorly.
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguity, define problems, and build plans.

Nice to have

• Experience in a fast-growing AI or developer-focused company with a technically dense employee population.
• Previous ownership of an employer brand or internal storytelling program.
