Head of Strategic Projects, APAC (Fintech)

Location: Raffles Place, Singapore; flexible and hybrid working.

What you will do

• Lead high-priority strategic projects across Asia and APAC from problem definition through implementation and measurable commercial impact.
• Structure ambiguous business questions into workstreams, hypotheses, decisions, and action plans.
• Build business cases covering revenue potential, contribution economics, investment needs, operational implications, and risks.
• Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis, including market and product expansion, regulatory feasibility, licensing, and execution complexity.
• Develop launch and transformation roadmaps across Product, Technology, Operations, Marketing, Risk, Legal, and Compliance.
• Define project KPIs, track performance against business cases, and support regional prioritisation of capital, technology resources, and management attention.

Requirements

• Significant experience in strategy, transformation, business operations, consulting, corporate development, or complex project leadership, ideally in financial services, fintech, brokerage, investing, wealth, or another regulated industry.
• Proven ability to take major strategic initiatives from concept through execution and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
• Strong commercial judgement and analytical skills, including business cases, unit economics, contribution margin, and return on investment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn unstructured issues into clear frameworks and decisions.
• Strong understanding of APAC markets and their commercial, regulatory, and competitive differences.
• Excellent stakeholder-management skills, including influencing senior leaders, constructively challenging assumptions, and creating momentum across teams.
