Strategic PMO Lead (Data & AI)

What you will do

• Establish portfolio governance, planning cadences, stage gates, dependency management, and executive reporting.
• Maintain an integrated view of initiatives, platform work, staffing, vendors, budgets, risks, decisions, and milestones.
• Drive follow-through across product, engineering, governance, business, and partner teams.
• Support quarterly and annual planning, capacity allocation, investment decisions, and portfolio rebalancing.
• Identify delivery risks and facilitate resolution of scope, resource, dependency, and ownership issues.
• Represent the function in discovery, architecture, governance, operational-readiness, and continuous-improvement activities; identify and pilot practical data, AI, and digital opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Program Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of program, portfolio, transformation, PMO, product operations, or related experience in complex cross-functional environments.
• Ability to manage multiple interdependent initiatives and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
• Strong planning, facilitation, risk management, financial tracking, and executive reporting skills.
• Experience with agile, product, or hybrid delivery models.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, communicate clearly, and deliver results in an evolving environment.
• Ability to build trusted relationships while balancing enterprise standards with business needs and operating realities.
• Ability to travel overnight.

Nice to have

• PMP, PgMP, agile, product operations, or comparable certification.
• Experience with portfolio tooling and AI-assisted planning or reporting.
• Experience in homebuilding, real estate, construction, mortgage, title, land development, sales, purchasing, finance, customer care, or another distributed operating business.
• Experience in a large, complex enterprise environment.
• Experience founding, incubating, or building new products, capabilities, or businesses from the ground up.
