Research Associate (Bioconjugation and Protein Purification)

What you will do

• Set up and execute experiments based on established protocols, including remodeling and bioconjugation experiments.
• Purify products using FPLC chromatography, including SEC, IEC, and Protein A methods.
• Perform product fill-finish and analytical testing using SEC, UPLC-MS, HPLC, SDS-PAGE, and endotoxin testing.
• Process, analyze, and document results in an ELN.
• Prepare production reports in PowerPoint and product certificates, and communicate results to internal stakeholders.
• Support laboratory operations and comply with company, quality, regulatory, and safety standards.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in chemical biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with protein purification and analysis techniques, including SEC, IEX, affinity chromatography such as Protein A/L and Ni-NTA, SDS-PAGE, RP-HPLC, and MS.
• Experience handling antibodies, including their modification, purification, and analysis.
• Familiarity with bioconjugation chemistry techniques, preferably including hands-on experience.
• Strong commitment to laboratory work and project delivery, attention to detail and accuracy, and a strong team-player mentality.
