Senior Applications Analyst - Billing (Zuora)

Location: Remote within the United States; employees may live in any of the 50 states, with limited exceptions.

Base salary: $130,100–$207,900 annually in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC; $123,700–$197,500 annually in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia. The range depends on location.

What you will do

• Lead the design, configuration, and enhancement of enterprise systems and integrations, including billing-related capabilities.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with product, engineering, and functional teams.
• Perform complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across applications, integrations, and data flows.
• Plan and execute system changes, releases, upgrades, testing, and post-implementation validation.
• Identify opportunities for process automation, workflow optimization, and feature improvements through usage and performance analysis.
• Mentor peers and partner teams on system capabilities, configurations, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of experience in information systems, enterprise applications, or a related technology role supporting business-critical platforms.
• Experience designing, configuring, and supporting complex enterprise applications or platforms such as HR, finance, CRM, ITSM, or similar systems.
• Experience gathering requirements, prioritizing enhancements, and delivering system changes from concept through implementation with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience analyzing system issues and data flows to develop remediation plans, process improvements, or automation opportunities.
