Integrations Engineer (MuleSoft)

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States; onsite role.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain APIs and enterprise integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API-led connectivity.
• Define API specifications with RAML or OAS, publish reusable assets in Anypoint Exchange, and build DataWeave transformations across JSON, XML, CSV, and flat-file formats.
• Integrate on-premises and cloud systems through REST, SOAP, JMS, databases, SFTP, Anypoint MQ, and SaaS connectors including Salesforce, Workday, Oracle, and ServiceNow.
• Implement error handling, retries, logging, alerting, API security, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, MUnit testing, code reviews, technical design sessions, sprint ceremonies, and technical documentation.
• Use AI tools to accelerate integration design, development, testing, and documentation; participate in on-call support and incident resolution.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on integration development experience, including at least 2–3 years building production solutions with MuleSoft Mule 4.
• Strong proficiency with Mule 4, DataWeave, API-led connectivity, and RAML/OpenAPI specifications.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, HTTP, JSON, XML, synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and messaging with Anypoint MQ.
• Experience securing APIs and integrations with OAuth 2.0, TLS, JWT, client ID/secret, and IP whitelisting.
• Hands-on experience integrating with MS SQL Server and MongoDB.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and cloud integration monitoring skills.
• Hands-on experience with modern DevOps and CI/CD practices, including GitHub, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Professional experience with AI-assisted development or productivity tools, including vibe coding, Mule dev agent, Anypoint extensions, code generation, test generation, or documentation assistance.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical teams; a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 or 2, or Integration Architect certification.
• Experience designing agentic AI solutions and integrating AI agents into enterprise systems.
• Experience with MuleSoft and Azure services, including Azure API Management, Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL Server, App Insights, and Azure Key Vault.
