Location: Reston, VA, US. US citizenship and Secret clearance are required.

Salary: $108,000–$161,000 annually.

What you will do

• Prototype, develop, and deploy scalable backend web applications and server-side processing logic.
• Design and maintain efficient SQL and NoSQL data storage solutions and complex database schemas.
• Integrate backend logic and APIs with front-end interfaces and client-side applications.
• Optimize client-side interfaces and backend servers for speed, scalability, and stability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA to translate requirements into functional software.
• Conduct peer reviews, troubleshoot cross-stack defects, and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in software development, system integration, and full-stack engineering.
• US citizenship and Secret clearance are required.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree is preferred, and relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.
• Deep proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong knowledge of backend platforms and open-source languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/Node, Ruby, or PHP.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery models such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe and a DevSecOps framework.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with Webpack or Vite.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience writing automated tests across the stack, including Cypress, Jest, API, or backend unit tests.
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Azure Developer Associate, or CSSLP certification.
