Product Manager - Senior BDVA 1675 (Software)

Salary: $108,000–$161,000 annually

What you will do

• Define and own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and functional delivery for complex software initiatives supporting a GSA contract.
• Gather requirements from government users and stakeholders and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Manage and prioritize the Agile product backlog to ensure delivery of high-value software features.
• Collaborate with engineering leads, UI/UX designers, and cross-functional teams to guide technical development.
• Communicate product iterations, releases, and strategic direction to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Identify and mitigate product risks and roadblocks and contribute product insights to business development proposals.

Requirements

• 12–15 years of experience.
• Experience in product or project management within software development.
• Ability to translate complex user needs into technical requirements for engineering teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting product roadmaps to executive leadership.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and user requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery models such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe and with a DevSecOps framework.
• Secret or higher security clearance and US citizenship are required.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Agile frameworks, team dynamics, and conflict resolution strategies.
• Familiarity with roadmapping and backlog management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
