Jr. AI Native Experience Designer (AI)

What you will do

• Design AI-native products, services and digital experiences from early concepts through high-fidelity and functional prototypes.
• Explore interaction patterns involving agents, copilots, conversational experiences, generative interfaces and multimodal AI.
• Use AI to research, ideate, create, prototype, test and iterate, including with Figma and AI-assisted design and development tools.
• Move design concepts toward working front-end experiences and partner with engineers to translate designs into production experiences.
• Design for AI-specific challenges including uncertainty, transparency, trust, user control and unexpected outputs.
• Bring concepts to life for clients and contribute to the evolution of AI-native design practices.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional experience in experience design, product design, interaction design, UX/UI or a related discipline.
• A strong portfolio showing work from problem definition through concept, interaction design and execution.
• Strong experience with Figma, prototyping, interaction design and design systems.
• Demonstrated experience using AI as part of the design, prototyping or creation process, with hands-on experimentation with generative AI, AI-assisted design tools, coding tools or emerging prototyping platforms.
• Strong foundations in human-centered design, user journeys, information architecture, usability and user research.
• Critical thinking, the ability to challenge assumptions and bring structure to ambiguous problems.
• Enough technical fluency to understand how modern digital experiences are built and collaborate closely with engineering teams.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills for explaining design decisions to clients, engineers and designers.
• Curiosity about AI and a demonstrated habit of turning that curiosity into tangible work.

Nice to have

• Experience taking a design concept through to a working front-end prototype or building an AI agent, copilot, conversational interface or generative experience.
• Experience with voice, image, video or other multimodal AI experiences.
• Experience with Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, v0, Replit, Lovable or Bolt.
• Experience with an LLM or AI API, or knowledge of context, RAG, tool calling and agents.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React or modern front-end development.
• Experience designing for AI uncertainty and non-deterministic behavior, building trust and user control, or contributing to design systems and working interfaces.
• Side projects, hackathon projects or experiments demonstrating practical exploration of emerging technology.
