Summer 2027 - Product Support Engineering Intern (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in Dallas, Texas, United States; 10-week full-time summer internship.

Salary: $37–$97 per hour, determined by academic level.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and optimize sustainment tools, dashboards, and data pipelines for fleet metrics and maintenance data.
• Support reliability, availability, and maintainability analyses, including Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis.
• Clean and analyze telemetry, maintenance-log, and supply-chain data using Python, SQL, and Palantir Foundry.
• Support the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System to identify component-failure trends and improve product lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with software engineering, logistics, and field operations to automate data collection and improve technical documentation.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Science, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM degree.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, R, or data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Understanding of probability, statistics, and engineering economics applied to reliability and logistics.
• Effective communication skills for translating complex datasets into actionable engineering recommendations.
• Ability to commit to an on-site, 10-week full-time internship program.

Nice to have

• Experience or coursework in reliability engineering, logistics engineering, or predictive maintenance.
• Familiarity with database design, data warehousing, or system architecture.
• Knowledge of aerospace or military sustainment standards, including MIL-HDBK-217 or MIL-STD-1629.
