What you will do

• Answer recurring business questions across go-to-market, People, Product, and Engineering using SQL, Python, and AI tooling.
• Build internal tools such as scripts, Slack bots, lightweight dashboards, AI skills, and vibe-coded applications to eliminate repetitive reporting and ad hoc requests.
• Partner with stakeholders to clarify needs and turn vague requests into useful, well-scoped solutions.
• Maintain and improve data pipelines, identify data quality issues, and resolve inconsistent definitions.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools and workflows for internal adoption and document solutions so others can operate them independently.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a data analyst, analytics engineer, or BI role, with real SQL and Python fluency.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, or similar to build a real script, agent, or automation.
• Ability to identify repetitive manual processes and automate them.
• Ability to turn a vague stakeholder request into a specific, well-scoped answer without heavy supervision.
• Clear written communication and the ability to explain findings or tools to non-technical audiences in a few sentences.
• Experience at a startup where the data stack and tooling were still being built rather than inherited as a mature system.
• Experience building or prompting AI agents and workflows, beyond using chat interfaces.
• Familiarity with modern BI and data tools such as dbt, Looker, Hex, or similar.
