Finance Data Analytics Senior Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Build and maintain finance data pipelines and models connecting ERP, planning, CRM, HRIS, and project delivery systems.
• Own data quality and reliability through monitoring, troubleshooting, source reconciliations, automated checks, documentation, and access controls.
• Analyze revenue, margins, pipeline conversion, workforce capacity, performance drivers, and variances.
• Maintain models for budgeting, rolling forecasts, scenario analysis, and management reporting.
• Build trusted datasets, dashboards, and documented metrics for self-service analysis.
• Use Codex and ChatGPT to analyze finance data, automate recurring workflows, and develop traceable recommendations while validating code and calculations.

Requirements

• Approximately 6–10 years of relevant experience across finance, FP&A, accounting, analytics, data engineering, or finance systems, with hands-on experience in both finance and data.
• Experience personally building and maintaining data pipelines and financial datasets for recurring analysis and reporting, including troubleshooting and support.
• Strong SQL and practical proficiency in Python or a comparable scripting language, including API integration, database querying, and automated data transformations.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, revenue, cost, margin, and variance analysis.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT, cloud data warehouses, and scheduled workflows.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and experience building dashboards and reporting in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or a comparable BI tool.
• Experience with data quality and control practices, including source reconciliations, automated checks, version control, documentation, and appropriate access to sensitive finance data.
• Clear communication with finance, technical, and business stakeholders, including translating ambiguous questions into analyses and recommendations and explaining assumptions and limitations.
• Ownership from initial build through maintenance, analysis, and reporting, with the ability to prioritize business needs and improve processes as the finance function grows.
