Sr. Principal Technical Producer (Developer Connections)

What you will do

• Translate approved portfolio direction into executable technical roadmaps, reallocate resources, and shift priorities to maximize strategic value.
• Shape department, business-unit, or regional strategy through team and initiative leadership, and drive operational strategy.
• Build, adopt, and implement production processes across the business unit.
• Create alignment across organizations, proactively surface conflicts, and route them to resolution.
• Lead significant change across multiple teams, processes, and efforts with major product, operational, or organizational effects.
• Support recruiting, hiring, interview-kit development, and talent-acquisition efforts; mentor senior producers and leaders in other disciplines.
• Represent delivery health, investment posture, and risk to executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in technical production, technical program management, or engineering leadership.
• Demonstrated ownership of operational strategy for an organization, including decisions with large to critical business impact.
• Broad understanding of relevant technical domains and how they interact.
• Ability to drive difficult technical decisions among leaders with opposing views.

Nice to have

• Agile certification from Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org, PMI, or ICAgile.
• Advanced Atlassian Power User experience with Jira Product Discovery, Jira Space Administration, or Jira Plans, or Atlassian certifications.
• 4+ years of people management experience, including growing teams and direct reports toward organizational goals.
• Experience building or supporting operational platforms, internal developer tooling, or cloud-based services.
• Experience with SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or incident response organizations.
• Experience delivering software for globally scaled, highly available systems.
• Experience building business cases and funding requests for technical investment, owning portfolio-level investment tradeoffs, planning across multi-year horizons, and managing cross-portfolio dependencies.
