Assistant Licensing Manager (Softlines)

Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States; hybrid work environment.

Base salary: new hires generally start at $95,000–$127,000 per year; full range $95,000–$172,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day relationships with designated accessory licensees, supporting onboarding, education, database implementation, reporting, marketing, and related business needs.
• Identify and engage prospective licensees aligned with strategic softlines initiatives.
• Develop creative direction for accessories and footwear and collaborate with Brand Services on innovative, trend-right products.
• Review product and marketing submissions, provide approvals or comments, and coordinate product development.
• Manage project plans, schedules, interdepartmental communication, contracts, legal forms, manufacturer agreements, and customs letters.
• Support budgeting, licensing strategy, royalty reporting, partner compliance, revenue growth, and the planning and attendance of licensing events and trade shows.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree and/or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of related experience; previous softlines licensing, manufacturing, or related experience is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, leadership, strategic, and creative thinking skills, with an entrepreneurial and positive approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with little supervision.
• Strong organizational, presentation, detail-management, and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to take direction and complete tasks independently by assigned deadlines.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint; comfort with databases, tracking systems, reports, and licensee training.
