Supervisor, Research (Shift 2)

Location: On-site at the Santa Ana, California location; 2nd shift.

Salary: $69,000–$75,000 per year. Actual compensation varies based on location, job level, experience, and skill set.

What you will do

• Supervise department staffing, training, scheduling, task assignment, and daily work priorities.
• Monitor productivity, develop production goals, and ensure operational targets and service levels are met.
• Develop employee skills, team morale, departmental structure, and a productive work environment.
• Create solutions for departmental issues, improve procedures and efficiency, and minimize error percentages.
• Ensure team members use appropriate resources and follow identification, safety, attendance, security, and other company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with internal customers and other departments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in a fulfillment, manufacturing, or related environment and 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to understand and relay company policies and procedures.
• Dependable, personable teamwork skills and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Data-driven problem-solving skills and an understanding of the general business implications of decisions.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment with little room for error.
• Influential leadership skills, including the ability to motivate others and drive departmental change.
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, including the ability to develop and execute realistic action plans.
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to trading cards, tickets, and other sports and non-sports collectibles, plus expert knowledge of PSA authentication and grading standards.
