Consultant, Digital Operations & Privacy

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site and the remaining days remote.

What you will do

• Research, analyze, interpret, and document moderately complex business information and provide advice to stakeholders.
• Gather complex business requirements, facilitate solution-design discussions, and prepare and validate solution-design documentation.
• Lead technical development of high-quality processes and procedures aligned with business, security, compliance, and policy requirements.
• Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert, guide technology and project professionals, and help resolve operational and process problems.
• Manage stakeholder requests and create or edit presentations, communication plans, key messages, and tactical deliverables.
• Investigate production issues and provide resolutions, involving developers when needed; support risk management, cost optimization, audit, and continuous monitoring.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a BSC role leading projects and designing solutions.
• Knowledge of financial markets, including stocks, options, fixed income, and mutual funds.
• Working knowledge of financial product concepts and calculations, including bond amortization, accrued income, expected income, and yields.
• Experience using SQL, Azure DevOps, and quality assurance practices.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to investigate complex problems and communicate detailed information.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain and present factual and conceptual information requiring detailed interpretation.
• Applicants must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and, where applicable, hold a valid work or study permit.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with application and/or architecture development.
