Sr Analyst, Automation & Analytics

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; remote work is available, with on-site attendance required occasionally at approximately 1–2 days per month and potentially more based on business needs.

What you will do

• Develop and support instrumentation, analytics, automation, reporting, and capacity-management capabilities for Operations, Transformation and Automation.
• Design and implement solutions using self-service and low-code tools to address business problems and improve operational efficiency.
• Investigate routine and non-routine operational issues and provide independent recommendations on compliance, policies, controls, risk assessments, and control activities.
• Translate business requirements into process, data, application, infrastructure, interface, and integration specifications.
• Lead complex solution design activities, technology roadmaps, design reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
• Provide technical consulting and mentor junior designers and developers through knowledge sharing and problem solving.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting applications.
• Expertise in most of the following: VBA, Alteryx, Power Automate, Power Apps, Tableau, Power BI, SAS, Oracle, SQL Server, Azure, AWS, Informatica, SSIS, Git, TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Selenium.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a technical discipline.
• Ability to perform complex solution design, translate business requirements into system and application designs, and document technical functionality.
• Ability to lead multiple complex technology solutions, contribute to technology roadmaps, and apply best practices and continuous improvement.
• Ability to lead design reviews, manage stakeholders, adapt to changing requirements, and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong business analytics understanding and an automation mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and outside-the-box thinking.

Nice to have

• MBA or Master’s degree specializing in Advanced Analytics, ML, or AI.
• PMP certification.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
