Business Consultant, Process and Change Management (Data Analytics)

Location: Toronto, ON; work arrangement and the proportion of on-site and remote work will be discussed during the interview. Legally eligible to work at the specified location and a valid work or study permit may be required.

What you will do

• Identify and recommend operational, technology, and process changes that improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
• Drive, manage, and execute data and reporting projects aligned with business strategy, objectives, and performance indicators.
• Analyze research information, data, and reports to identify opportunities and provide recommendations for management.
• Build relationships with internal and external partners across the bank and support client experience and shared business outcomes.
• Research industry practices, tools, and systems; recommend enhancements to automated reporting systems and support performance-metric tracking.
• Produce clear business documents and communicate analytical, process, and technology concepts to stakeholders from different disciplines.

Requirements

• Experience with programming languages and modern big data, analytical, and dashboard tools, including SAS, SQL, Python, R, Hadoop, Spark, Alteryx, Tableau, or Cognos.
• Degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, engineering, physics, or business, or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to independently identify business problems, analyze them, and recommend solutions.
• Knowledge of an organization's IT environment and understanding of process integration and interdependencies across a line of business.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, well-structured business documents.
• Ability to understand business and process requirements and define fairly complex processes or subsets of processes affecting a line of business.
• Motivation to achieve goals, deliver high-quality work, and make an impact.
• Alignment with values of trust, teamwork, and accountability.

• Advanced degree such as MMA, MBAN, MSc, MA, or MBA.
