Senior Consultant, Investment & Digital Enablement

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site and the remaining days remote. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.

What you will do

• Own squad-level business cases, roadmaps, benefit forecasts, and initiative direction for high-impact savings, investments, and advice initiatives.
• Lead discovery with Product Owners and stakeholders, defining business direction, journey context, objectives, scope, and success metrics.
• Author and maintain high-quality Epics that establish direction before individual stories are written.
• Represent squads with senior business stakeholders and executives, translating delivery progress into business narratives and supporting investment and prioritization decisions.
• Define KPIs and partner with measurement and analytics teams after launch to track benefit realization.
• Provide advisory support and business execution planning across an additional squad or initiative as capacity allows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience leading large, cross-functional, complex initiatives, business analysis, client or product strategy, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience in financial services or another regulated environment is preferred within the stated experience background.
• Proven experience owning Epics, business cases, or equivalent initiative-level artifacts and translating them into executable roadmaps.
• Ability to distill complex and ambiguous business problems into clear narratives and business cases that gain support from Product Owners, technology partners, and senior executives.
• Credible communication skills with senior business stakeholders, including the ability to build and defend executive-level business cases.
• Working knowledge of agile delivery, including Jira, Epics, Stories, story-writing standards, and INVEST principles, applied across a multi-squad environment.
• Systems-thinking ability to connect client needs, business objectives, and platform capabilities and sequence work for future opportunities.
• Ability to investigate complex problems, interpret detailed information, communicate meaningful insights, and guide Product Owners and team standards through sound judgment.
