General Manager, Greater Milwaukee Market

Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin; requires being in the Milwaukee office every day and visiting local businesses each week for less than 25% of the time. Remote candidates will not be considered.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day operations, P&L, growth-plan execution, and operational stability in the Greater Milwaukee market.
• Drive business development, develop market-entry and growth strategies, build target lists, and cultivate strategic accounts and partnerships.
• Manage the CRM process and identify scalable ways to recruit business users.
• Recruit, hire, coach, and develop the market team as the business grows.
• Collaborate with market leaders, Operations Leadership, and the CEO on go-to-market and long-term business strategy.
• Provide product-market fit feedback to product management and technology development and support public events, interviews, and workshops.

Requirements

• Direct experience working in or advising logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing industries.
• Leadership experience with teams, cross-functional projects, or organizations, including responsibility for team capability, hiring, coaching, and capacity planning.
• Upward progression within the same company and active responsibility for cross-functional teams, projects, or organizations.
• At least 5 years of workforce experience after university; 8 years of work experience is ideal.
• Demonstrated results in outperforming or exceeding goals, with examples of specific outcomes.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to use direct and plain language.
• Detail orientation and the ability to break down complex problems using data.
• Self-starter attitude, industriousness, eagerness to learn, professional growth orientation, and a demonstrated mastery of something such as sport or music.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in the Milwaukee office every day and visit local businesses each week.
• Applicants must not have worked at or studied processes of a FAANGS or other Silicon Valley-based company.
