What you will do
- Prioritize new ventures across industry verticals, geographies, partnerships, and customer offerings.
- Build business cases, define milestones, and recommend capital and headcount commitments.
- Launch initiatives such as expert-advisory offerings for major manufacturing customers.
- Recruit initial teams and collaborate with engineering and commercial leaders to deliver results.
- Support company planning and fundraising through financial analysis and evidence from new initiatives.
- Scale, revise, or stop initiatives based on results, then lead them permanently or transfer ownership.
Requirements
- Demonstrated record of launching a business, function, product, or program.
- Strong commercial judgment and financial fluency.
- Ability to recruit and lead people across disciplines.
- Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Somerville, MA, or San Francisco, CA.
