Executive Director GPO Delivery and Optimization (Healthcare)

Location: Remote; travel 21–40% within the United States required.

Salary: $164,000–$305,000 base salary.

What you will do

• Lead one GPO Delivery pod across its full portfolio of accounts, managing complex multi-account programs and a subset of strategic accounts.
• Own contract performance, utilization, growth forecasting, business reviews, and value realization across categories and accounts.
• Use hirify.global technology, AI, Power BI, MVE, and other analytics resources to model contracting scenarios and turn data into strategic recommendations.
• Build trusted relationships with senior supply chain executives, physicians, and clinicians; lead executive discussions, resolve conflicts, and identify opportunities.
• Align GPO contracting, portfolio SMEs, COE leadership, account coaches, Rx, Food, and Portfolio Advisors across the pod.
• Hire, coach, develop, and performance-manage the pod while driving KPI accountability, succession planning, standardization, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of applicable experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to operate autonomously, manage competing priorities, mentor others, and make independent decisions.
• Resilience, resourcefulness, adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver under ambiguity and changing priorities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executives, physicians, clinicians, coworkers, and the public in person and electronically.
• Ability to operate computer programs and software and work collaboratively in a business environment with interruptions.
• Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods and perform sedentary work involving up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.

Nice to have

• 12+ years in account management, category management, sourcing and contracting, or healthcare supply chain leadership.
• Proven experience analyzing complex data and communicating insights to C-suite executives, physicians, and clinicians.
• Deep expertise in GPO contract lifecycle management and enterprise or portfolio-level performance optimization.
• Exceptional leadership, facilitation, influencing skills, and polished executive presence.
• Experience hiring, coaching, and developing a team of 10 or more.
• Experience leading organizational change and continuous improvement across a multi-account portfolio.
• Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce, Power BI, and AI-enabled analytics tools.
• Master’s degree.
